If you have never used or accessed care or support before we understand that the process can seem very daunting and confusing.

Some of the most commonly asked questions are outlined below.  For further help and advice please do not hesitate to contact our team.

Caring Partnership is able to offer a diverse range of services to support you, both in your own home and the local community. If you have a care or support need that is not listed above this is not a problem, we can simply tailor the support we provide to meet your individual needs.

What happens once I have decided on the service I need?

You can contact us on 0113 4260805 to have a chat about the service you believe you need and we will arrange for one of our friendly and professional team to come out and visit you. We will be happy to come and meet you and any family or friends you wish to have present while the personal support plan is completed with you. This meeting can take place at your home, a residential home or hospital, whichever is best for you. We will discuss the things that are important to you to ensure your Personal Support Plan is person centred and unique to your needs.

What information is needed in my Personal Support Plan?

Your identified needs will be spoken about at length to ensure your personal support plan is correct and accurate. The amount of information taken or needed is very much dependent on your care or support needs. In the areas of your life where you do not require support then no information will be taken or recorded.

For example, if you are able to manage your finances or have someone who does this on your behalf then no information will be asked for. We only ask information that is relevant to your care or support needs.

You will be given a copy of the personal support plan and any other documentation used in the assessment to keep at your home. We ask that you or an advocate read and sign these documents before any support is delivered to you to ensure you are happy with the proposed services.

When can my care or support start?

This can depend on the needs that you have identified in your personal support plan. Normally services can begin as soon as your personal support plan has been completed and signed by yourself or your advocate. This can be as little as 24 hours. The start date and time is your decision to make and we will work with you to achieve this. Where services are requested to start immediately, the personal support plan can be completed retrospectively within 24 hours of our start date.

How much will it all cost?

This is dependent on the service you choose. There are no costs attached to the personal support plan being carried out. Caring Partnership Ltd will only charge you for the hours of care and support delivered to you. 

All updates to your personal support plan and our attendance at your care review meeting are all part of the service we deliver and there is no additional charge for this.

We never charge for our services upfront and have a range of payment methods available to you. We are happy to discuss these options with you when your personal support plan is carried out.
